This is our first ‘home-work blog’, where we will be sharing lots of ideas for fun and productive activities using Ketso; for the whole family, for individuals and for children. There are many creative ways to use Ketso for both work and play that we will share over the coming weeks and months. Ketso offers engaging ‘screen-free’ activities to help balance out the many online and digital tools and services that we will all be using while locked-down at home.
Just like you have ‘apps’ on a phone or tablet, there are many different ‘apps’ for how to use Ketso – but unlike a normal ‘app’ they are used with a physical kit, for hands-on work and face-to-face engagement. We have ‘apps’ for learning and play, planning together, having good conversations, writing, project development and more – there’s something for everybody! We are adding regularly to a library of these ideas and ways of using Ketso here.
Here we are – at home – now what?
We will need all the creativity we can muster together during this time of lockdown, and to be ready to re-build and spring into action once it is over. At Ketso we are doing our best to help people stay positive, healthy and creative throughout this challenging time, including offering two of our family-friendly Ketso kits for a low rental price for 3 months, so as many people as possible can get the benefits and support of using them.
We are facing these challenges ourselves, so we will be trying out all sorts of new ways to use Ketso in our own homes, and we are keen to share any learning to help us all get through this. Time to get creative! Feel free to adapt, borrow and change these ideas – they are designed to be flexible so you can use them however you want. We would also love to hear about how you are using Ketso so we can try out and share new ideas you have!
